Le Don De Vie has changed stables since his easy victory at Epsom on Derby Day over The Trader. Four former winners failed to go close in that handicap and a 10lb rise for that success might be a problem on a more conventional course.

After twice being tightened for room, Eminence chased home a couple of stablemates in the King George V Stakes at Ascot. He was then beaten at Fairyhouse when odds-on in a slowly-run race when dropped in trip. This is much more in his favour.
