Squiggley stays on well to defy big price
>>Squiggley touched a high of 590 in running on Betfair on her way to landing the maiden at Epsom. The 8-1 winner came with a strong late run to catch 2-1 joint-favourite Aldrin, who dropped to third having hit 1.16.

Mutahaady won the battle to justify 3-1 favouritism, having been 8.6 on the exchange in the morning. The runner-up had halved in price from an early 9.4 to 9-2 and touched a low of 2.02.
