Southwell new boy can make waves on handicap debut

He has been running well and scored with a bit in hand last time, but he can throw in a bad run after a good one and the last time he won when favourite was in November 2014.

Wilde Oscar is only just starting his racing life and earned his handicap mark with three runs in the space of 33 days, all on Tapeta or Polytrack.

He showed definite promise after missing the break when fifth at Lingfield last time over a trip quite obviously short of what he wants and if he takes to Southwell's Fibresand he could run well.
