Solving tricky mares' handicap hurdle may be key to cracking code

The opening two legs of Sunday's Listowel Pick Six almost seem to select themselves, with Chief Justice looking banker material on his debut for Gordon Elliott in the opener (2.10) and Wicklow Brave simply impossible to oppose in the two-mile hurdle (2.40).

Percy Veer was in the process of running a cracker at Killarney when coming to grief at the last and should be thereabouts in the three-mile maiden hurdle (3.15), while Macgiloney should appreciate this longer trip.

The mares' handicap hurdle (3.45) is extremely tricky and to cover all bases the in-form Movingswiftlyalong and Theatre Run are included, while Listowel-loving Humm Baby and progressive five-year-old Torquay could be on the premises also.
