Fox Le BelTrainer: Liz Doyle
Third, 2m½f handicap hurdle, Clonmel, December 5

Held up towards the back of the field, Fox Le Bel made gradual progress into a competitive position, but he was badly hampered by a faller at the second-last and that should have been game over. However, he picked up again from the last and under mostly hands and heels riding he came home quite strongly.

He is only four and looks well capable of winning races. He is likely to go for a handicap hurdle over Christmas, possibly at Limerick where he should get the soft ground he probably requires.
