Eve Johnson Houghton’s Scarlet Dragon is an admirable performer who seems to get better with every run, but he’s up to a career high mark and this race features several unexposed types with surely more improvement in them.

One of those is Sixties Groove, who went close when receiving 5lb from Poet’s Word at Glorious Goodwood in a race that worked out really well.

Indeed, the winner is now rated 1lb superior to Scarlet Dragon, who is set to concede 13lb to Sixties Groove, less Hollie Doyle's valuable 5lb claim.
