Sixties Groove has a rock solid profile

This is a hot race for a Monday afternoon and, while I'm not usually one for short prices, it is hard to see past the lightly raced and classy Sixties Groove, who already boasts some of the best form and still appears to be improving, writes Graeme Rodway.

Jeremy Noseda's colt was an easy seven-length winner at Epsom in July and has since recorded two big career-best efforts in defeat. Sixties Groove threw the race away by hanging when beaten by the classy Poet's Word at Glorious Goodwood, but still pulled clear of rest and the form of that race is working out well.

The selection returned from a break with another big run at Newmarket this month, when he endured trouble early and raced keenly, but still finished best of all to lose out by a rapidly diminishing two lengths in fourth.
