Signposts: There's rhyme and reason in backing Dashing Poet

Credit: Charlie Crowhurst

When James Bethell and Ted Durcan combine at Wolverhampton they operate at an impressive 35 per cent strike-rate. Durcan’s only ride at the track is on Spirit Of Rome in the 3.25.

Jeremy Gask has a fantastic record with horses reappearing within seven days of a win – a strike-rate of 42 per cent, compared to nine per cent for all next-time-out winners. Dashing Poet goes in the 1.50 at Wolverhampton.
