Signposts: Sweetspots: Amazing Red can show true colours under Havlin

Credit: Alan Crowhurst

Robert Havlin is a jockey to note at Newcastle as he operates at a 32 per cent strike-rate (12 winners from 37). He has a strong book of rides, with Amazing Red possibly the best value in the 3.20.

Captain Joy was placed in the All-Weather Championships mile race in 2015 before winning it in 2016. He’s back again in the 4.10, representing a Tracey Collins stable with a fine record at Lingfield.
