Credit: Alan Crowhurst
Gina Andrews has a 50 per cent strike-rate when riding for Pam Sly at Fakenham, and bids to strike again on Actinpieces in the 4.10, a race the duo won 12 months ago. The mare is 8lb higher this year but 3lb below her mark when fifth in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival.
Richard Newland is 3-6 with his runners in first-time blinkers and fits them on Lovato this afternoon in the 3.25 at Wincanton. The six-year-old won last time out but the new headgear can help eke out a bit more in this better contest.
