Noche de Reyes looks set for ideal conditions in the 1.35 at Ludlow. The seven-year-old is three from seven at the venue, all over today's distance on good ground. He was below par there last time but it would have been softer than ideal so it's best to forgive that run.

James Fanshawe's runners are worth noting at Newcastle. The trainer is operating at a 35 per cent strike-rate (six from 17) at the venue. He can enhance his record there with Star Storm (2.00) and Singapore Sling (3.00).
