It has been a while since Snapraeterea showed his best form – indeed he has barely beaten a horse home on his last three appearances – but at his best he would gobble up the Group 3 Coolmore US Navy Flag Concorde Stakes at Tipperary and he is worth chancing.
He spent last season mixing it with some high-quality rivals, including Mohaafeth and Japan, and his Platinum Stakes win at Cork earned him an RPR of 112. A repeat of anything close to that would suffice here and the ground will be very much in his favour.
