The John McConnell-trained Anna Bunina can make the most of a good opportunity in a conditions race at Cork on her first start in an Irish hurdle race since December 2020.

McConnell's policy of campaigning the mare exclusively in England and Scotland for the past season and a half was vindicated at Ayr earlier this month when she improved on last year's second placing to land the Scottish Champion Hurdle.
