Anthony Honeyball's gelding has finished well held in his two chase starts, but he travelled well for a long way in both and is an interesting runner taking a marked drop in class following a break with the ground having come in his favour.

His three wins have come on ground with cut, so yesterday's rain will have been welcomed by connections. The going was in his favour on his chase debut at Uttoxeter in April, but he didn't seem to get home without the usual tongue-tie after jumping well. It was back on at Worcester the following month and he again showed promise when finishing fifth on quicker ground than ideal in a race in which two of the first four home were rated 135.
