School Boy Hours worthy of close inspection after excellent Navan debut

Potential winners from the last week's action in Ireland

Noel Meade: 'Everybody knew yesterday was going to be tricky because of the amount of racing that was on and I thought they did a fair job in the circumstances.'

4th, 2m½f mares' bumper, Down Royal, March 19
This mare by Getaway failed to score in two point-to-point starts but showed more on her Down Royal bumper debut than she did on either run between the flags.

It's difficult to know how good a bumper this was, but she could not have travelled better through the race and came through on the bridle to challenge and maybe even briefly get her head in front inside the two-furlong pole. When she came under pressure, however, she was green and rolled about on the testing ground.
