Saturday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiples

Saturday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters

West Country

Sporting John (3.00 Wetherby)

Class act in the field and won two good handicaps at this trip last season. Still unexposed as a staying hurdler and conditions set to suit.
James Stevens

Eyecatcher

Traprain Law(3.43 Ayr)

Can be that bit sharper after running okay almost a month ago following a 240-day absence.
David Toft

Speed figures

Eldorado Allen (3.35 Wetherby)

Won the Denman at Newbury in February, was third in the Ryanair, goes well fresh and can make his presence felt.
Dave Edwards

Handicappers' nap

Ginger Mail(3.43 Ayr)

A half-brother to 140+ rated stablemate Elvis Mail, he showed much improved form when winning easily at Doncaster and looks better than his current official mark of 114.
Steve Mason

The Punt nap

Sam Brown (3.35 Wetherby)

Classy chaser whose early odds grossly underestimate his chance in the Charlie Hall. Boasts a highly respectable record fresh, likes the mud but proved his suitability to a slightly faster surface with a dominant handicap success from Shan Blue at Aintree in April and remains lightly raced for a ten-year-old.
Robbie Wilders

Dark horse

Highway One O Two (2.05 Ascot)

Last year's Lanzarote runner-up who looked set to make a winning start to the season at Fontwell before being headed in the closing stages by a strong finisher. But he jumped well throughout and if he can replicate that run over today's significantly shorter trip he will give himself a great chance.
