Saturday's free racing tips: our experts give their best bets on Ebor day

Handicappers' nap

Chance (4.25 Goodwood)

Expensive recruit who has been thriving this year, winning his last three starts. Looks sure to do better again and likely to be hard to beat.
Simon Turner

Newmarket nap

Pretty Pollyanna (3.55 Newmarket)

Drops in class in a bid to get her head in front and worked well under Saturday's pilot Hayley Turner on the peat moss gallop in midweek.
David Milnes

Eyecatcher

Kelly's Dino (3.40 York)

A winner of the Old Newton Cup at Haydock off an 8lb lower mark on his penultimate start before finding Group 3 company beyond him at York, he made the most of the return to a handicap when winning at Newmarket. That trip was shorter than ideal and he can pull out more over this more suitable distance. (Raceform)

Irish Angle

Lady Wannabe (2.30 Killarney)

Went close under Frankie Dettori last time and seems to save her best for Killarney. Ratings suggest she has a big chance and everything points to a bold showing.
David Jennings

Ace Tipster

Gossiping (3.15 Goodwood)

Loves downhill tracks and, after bolting up at Epsom on Oaks day, he ran a belter to be seventh from an awful draw in the Golden Mile at this track three weeks ago. He is better drawn in stall three and has to go close given the form he is in.
Paul Kealy

Speed Figures

Beat Le Bon (2.05 Goodwood)

Has a bit to find on official figures but is unbeaten at the track and both hands of the clock point to a third course success.
Dave Edwards

Spotlight nap

King's Advice (3.40 York)

Made up a lot of ground from wide draw when sixth in the Northumberland Plate and that's his only defeat in nine starts for Mark Johnston; can go from the front but chased leaders when hitting major new heights in valuable 1m6f races at Newmarket and Goodwood on last two starts; has 4lb penalty (officially 1lb well in) but he keeps sticking his neck out to find more; yet another win is in the offing.
Richard Austen

Dark horse

Kimifive (3.15 Goodwood)

Course-and-distance winner who travelled strongly but found himself drawn on the wrong side in the Stewards' Cup last time out. The drying ground and step back up to an easy 7f will suit on a track that plays to his strengths.
Olly Eden

Must-have stat of the day

Franny Norton has ridden Matterhorn on three occasions and won every time. He bids to make it four out of four in the 6.50 at Windsor.
