Dancing Fighter, a progressive sort, looks the Placepot banker under Joao Moreira in the 1.45 over 6f at Happy Valley.

Caspar Fownes’s runner has won three of his six races in Hong Kong and has finished a close second on all other starts. Although berthed in stall 9, this is his lowest draw to date at The Valley.

Green Reign, who represents the same trainer-jockey combination, ran well from the widest draw last time out and has a solid chance of getting in the frame from gate three at 2.50.

Reliable yardstick Super Lucky is sure to go well in the 1.15 and in the same race it’s worth taking a chance on Super Alliances, who is much better drawn than on his last two starts.

Low-drawn pair Winner's Heart (now blinkered) and Winning Ways appeal as the most likely winners in opening leg at 12.15, while Green Dispatch and Methane (also blinkered for the first time) are solid alternatives in leg two.

The best chance of boosting the dividend could come in the 2.15 and Champ Patrol, who recently shaped well in a barrier trial, has winning prospects along with Xiang Bai Qi (tried in blinkers) and Jolly Harbour.
