Don Armado won a nursery at Glorious Goodwood on the back of his breakthrough success at Nottingham. He went on to finish fourth at the Ebor meeting last time out. The last winner of this race to come straight from nurseries was in 1985.

Garrus won novice events in fine style the last twice. The quality in behind is hard to evaluate but he could be a big improver.
