Hard to predict how the market for the first juvenile race of the season will shape up but it seems likely that Ballydoyle's runner will be popular. There is no doubt he sticks out on pedigree. Of the other major yards represented, Jim Bolger's pair are bred more for stamina than speed.

Conclusion Not a race to be dogmatic about, and it's been a quite a while since Aidan O'Brien won this event. May be worth opposing.
