Rely on Wishing Star and Light Pillar in juicy Pick 6 at Dundalk

There is a guaranteed prize-pool of €50,000 for the Pick 6 at Dundalk where Light Pillar looks a bullet-proof banker in the Scenic Carlingford Ferry Race (4.15) and Wishing Star is also worth relying on in the 7f fillies maiden (3.05).

Light Pillar is making his first start for Joseph O'Brien having won twice for Andre Fabre in France. He is rated 100, 4lb higher than main market rival Kerosin, but he receives 13lb from that opponent thanks to Shane Crosse's 10lb claim and should be very hard to beat.

Wishing Star has just had one start to date and what a promising effort that was, staying on strongly into third behind leading Qipco 1,000 Guineas contender I Can Fly over the same course and distance that she runs over here.

There should be lots of improvement to come and the daughter of Galileo should prove a tough nut to crack under Chris Hayes from a great draw in stall three.

Elsewhere on the card, Lady Nathaniel could prove to be nicely-treated off a mark of 70 in the mile handicap (2.30).
