Relight My Fire: can catch light to notch a fifth Beverley success on Tuesday

Regular followers of this column must think I am a huge Take That fan as I seem to tip Relight My Fire every other week!

That couldn’t be further from the truth even though I’d love to meet Robbie Williams, but two recent defeats won’t stop me backing Tim Easterby’s six-year-old when he bids to prove a smash hit by gaining a fifth Beverley success in the Start Your Racing UK Free Trial Handicap (4.30).

Runaway winner of this race three years ago, Relight My Fire competes off a highly workable mark nowadays, and it is surely only a matter of time before he adds to his tally at his favourite track.
