1pt win at 7-1 generallyMaster Of Irony has seemingly enjoyed the switch north to John Quinn from Ralph Beckett and he strikes me as a big price for a horse obviously in good heart, having won two of his three hurdles starts.

One of those wins came at Catterick, as did his second to a subsequent easy winner in a race in which the 20-length third has since bolted up twice.

All that form is solid and it came on slightly easy ground, but Master Of Irony showed his best on the Flat for Beckett when a very easy winner on good to firm at Windsor last May.
