It is great to hear Gordon Elliott being so upbeat about Apple's Jade as she seeks back to back wins in the Lismullen Hurdle (1.35) at Navan.

During my recent trip to Elliott's charming Cullentra House yard for a Racing Post stable tour, she was the one pleasing him most and it sounds like her problems through the second half of last season have been sorted. It would be a major surprise if she suffers defeat and she looks one of the better odds-on shots in recent weeks.
