Mocha can strike for Palmer

The Craven stakes won by Masar last month will go down as a freak race in which he just bounced off the ground and ran away from the field.

The fact it was a bit of a flukey performance has been emphasised by the fact the third Roaring Lion finished much closer to him in the 2,000 Guineas. The interesting one, though, has to be runner-up White Mocha, who came through strongly after coming under pressure a long way out.
