Punchestown fancies: Cheltenham Festival winner on must-have list

Credit: Harry Trump

Josies Orders is one of five Cheltenham Festival winners in action at Punchestown on Sunday. EndaBolger's promoted winner of the 2016 Glenfarclas Chase warmed up for his return to cross-country action in the opening event (12.00) with a satisfactory run over hurdles. He faces a likely danger in Sizing Coal, the 2015 Irish Grand National third and a recent point-to-point winner.

Last Sunday's well-supported Navan scorer Oscars Den is a prime contender for the 2m handicap hurdle (12.30). More speculatively, it may pay to include She's A Star in the hope of a revival of last season's best form, and the frustrating Icario, who runs off a light weight for the in-form Gordon Elliott team.

Tombstone can deliver for Elliott and Gigginstown in the Craddockstown Novice Chase (1.05), and last season's Pertemps Final winner Presenting Percy can make his class and stamina count in the Florida Pearl Novice Chase (1.40) having given gave an assured performance on his chasing debut at Galway.
