Joseph O'Brien ran two newcomers in this Roscommon bumper, one of which was the well-backed newcomer and eventual winner Feux De Bois, but this son of Arcadio will have gone into plenty of notebooks too.

In a race where they were well strung out for most of the race, this horse was held up a long way off the pace and really had no chance of ever getting involved. But from about half a mile out, he began to run on through the field and pick off his opponents one by one, and he kept going to the line to be beaten just over 16 lengths having been off the pace by a few multiples of that distance for most of the way.
