Plenty to like about well-treated chaser

No. 3
Grand March
2.40 Wincanton
1pt win at 9-4 with Sky Bet, BoyleSports, Ladbrokes, William Hill, Betfair and Betway

Guanciale looked a shaky market leader when I assessed this race last night and it is no surprise he has been displaced as favourite by a gamble on this seven-year-old, who has strong form and could still be value at the 9-4 on offer.

It is more than 21 months since Grand March recorded his last win, but that came off a mark of 102 and his only other victory was achieved off 98. That suggests he is potentially well treated having dropped to a mark of only 92 on this seventh run over fences.
