Logical Song lost little in defeat on just his second ever chase start at Clonmel last month and shouldn't lack for fitness as he returns to hurdling in the opening novice hurdle (1.50).

It might be worth siding with Fit To Be Tied as well. The five-year-old is a full brother to Oscar Time, who won his bumper a hurdle race and the Paddy Power Chase as well as finishing runner-up in both the Irish and English Grand Nationals.

The following Grade 3 novices' hurdle (2.20) looks a little more straightforward and Kate Appleby Shoes is the standout on form. Her Clonmel maiden hurdle win was given a lovely boost when the second, Awayinthewest, ran a fine race in defeat in the mares' novice hurdle at Cheltenham. She should relish conditions and is a confident selection.
