Quirke On Parole looked all over the winner when cruising to the front two furlongs out at Beverley last time.

However, she couldn’t fend off the challenge of Time Tells All up the hill, and was beaten three lengths.

There is a chance this lightly-raced three-year-old could be more effective over a furlong-shorter trip at Carlisle in the 1m1f handicap (5.37).

A 48-day absence since Beverley rates a slight concern, but perhaps Mark Walford has simply been keen to keep her away from very firm ground.

The 56-rated Quirke On Parole has been extremely well backed for her last three starts, so it will be interesting - and probably significant - if the money arrives for the daughter of Without Parole once again.
