Push The Limit

4.55 Goodwood

Push The Limit makes a fair bit of appeal making his handicap debut off 91 for a suddenly bang in-form Ralph Beckett in the closing three-year-old handicap (4.55).

He's been second in two outings this season and was no match for The King's Falcon at Carlisle last time, although he was conceding 10lb to the winner, who would have been one of the favourites for a Royal Ascot handicap off 90 if he hadn't been pulled out with a bad scope.

The third, who was getting 7lb and was over three lengths back, has since run away with a maiden and is now rated 89, while the fourth has a rating of 101 after a big-priced third in Listed company, so that Carlisle novice looks incredibly strong.
