Paul Kealy's play of the day at Chester

Senior tipster

Let's Dream

3.40 Chester

I want to take a chance on Let's Dream at a price as he was so promising as a juvenile and could be incredibly well handicapped if Michael Bell, in stunning form this year, can get him back from a disappointing three-year-old campaign.

On his final two outings at two, Let's Dream comfortably saw off the now 101-rated Align The Stars at Goodwood, then went down by just half a length receiving 1lb from the now 105-rated Go Daddy at Nottingham.

A fair fourth on his return last season, he then finished tailed off at Ascot, was gelded and didn't return until October, when shaping well enough again in third. But that was it, so he has a bit to prove.

All his form is on an easy surface, so there is that to consider as well,  but Chester has been watering heavily (it was nearer good to soft than good on Wednesday and the GoingStick had gone down again by Thursday morning), and with the yard flying and promising Warren Fentiman taking 5lb off his mark of 81, it's a chance worth taking.
