Lunar Orbit
Lunar Orbit did well to win a juvenile hurdle at Market Rasen on his first start following wind surgery in December, coming from the back to win going away in a race run at a slow pace, and he has been raised just 2lb for that.
That means he lines up off a mark of just 108 in the 2m novice handicap hurdle (2.35), and he is rated 80 on the Flat so could evidently be well ahead of that sort of rating provided he can transfer his Flat form across to this different discipline for top trainer Warren Greatrex.
He looks likely to be every inch as good over hurdles judging by his Market Rasen success, and 63 days since that run should have given him time to get over any bounce from that first outing following wind surgery. Everything looks right for him to follow up under Paul O’Brien.
