Paul Kealy reckons Ebor hope can take another successful step towards big day

All roads lead to the Ebor for Alan King's four-year-old, who had been made ante-post favourite for another race at York on Saturday, but is unlikely to be tried on fast ground until his big mid-season target.

His trainer believes he doesn't want extremes of ground, but he handled heavy well enough to beat mudlark Hamish at Newbury last season. However, he also showed solid form on a better surface, most notably when winning a £75k pot in a big three-year-old handicap at Newmarket in October, and last month's close fourth to Dashing Willoughby back at that track was encouraging enough to suggest he'll have another good campaign.
