Paul Kealy provides his Newbury Placepot perm for Friday
I'll largely be working on the ground having eased for the Newbury Placepot, but my two in the opener (4.45) haven't tried an easy surface yet.
I think that's what wants, while I'll be surprised if turf debutant isn't effective given most of his winning siblings scored with cut.
Favourite Society Lion obviously has no issues on the ground, but I'm not convinced he's worth his handicap mark and he's tongue tied for the first time, which hints at a problem.
(5.25) ran well the only time he has tried soft ground and I'll bank on him as there are reasons for taking on the three ahead of him in the betting.
Rajinsky(5.55) is a promising middle-distance stayer in the making and ought to run well for Tom Dascombe, but this is a much tighter heat so a bit of cover is advisable.
' sole defeat came on good to soft, but it was to the unbeaten Logician and he's by Farhh, so I doubt there will be a problem. He has bags of promise and it's hard to rule out given Ralph Beckett's cracking run of form.
I will be surprised if Aweedram(6.25) doesn't go close to maintaining his 100 per cent record when ridden by William Buick, but the final two races are difficult as they're all unraced juveniles.
Amanda Perrett's was the only horse on the priority list (doesn't count anymore, but it's a sign of showing something to be on it) in the 7.00 and is bred for easy ground, so could go well at a price, while I'll also include the more obvious .
Likewise, Saeed bin Suroor's was the only one on the priority list in the 7.30. This gives him the opportunity to run over 7f six days before a possible Chesham tilt.
