Paul Kealy provides his Newbury placepot perm for Saturday
Tsaris going to be a warm order in the first leg (12.15) of the Newbury Placepot, which is arguably a more appealing pool bet than at Sandown, where there are plenty of small fields.
I'm not convinced he's anything special and he certainly made a meal of winning at odds of 2-7 when last seen at Newcastle in October, so conceding 7lb all round is no certainty, but it will probably be hard to keep him out the frame.
In the second leg (12.45) recent Lingfield scorer looks solid. That was a career best for him on artificial surfaces, but he's run to a slightly higher level on turf.
In July last year he won back-to-back races within the space of nine days, the first coming on the all-weather and the second at this track on ground just on the easy side.
does not always run to his best, but has hinted he's not badly treated on a couple of occasions so is included.
Leg three (1.15) is probably the hardest to solve, but is well handicapped on his first run for Richard Newland and is a rare enough Flat runner for the yard.
Redgraveis another who has dropped to a very handy mark and served notice a couple of times last term he'd be cashing in soon enough.
If we get just one non-runner in the 1.50 we'll need to find the winner and it's a trappy enough heat. I'm personally not sure It's Good To Laugh is the right jolly and will go with and .
In the Listed fillies' and mares' contest (2.25) I'm a little surprised is not favourite as she's the joint highest-rated in the race, not penalised like her rival Preening and has had a run this term.
It was a fair run too over an inadequate 6f at Haydock and she looks sure to run her race. Although it appears a tough enough heat I'm inclined to bank on her.
Warm favourite Domino Darling was ruled out of the final leg (3.00) and that should pave the way for .
I'd have been inclined to back her against the previous favourite as the form of her Yarmouth win over Frankly Darling looks very strong.
