1pt win at 9-2 generallyPyramid Place was never going to have any chance at 100-1 in the Grade 1 Finale at Chepstow last time as the first two home are rated 146 and 142 so you can ignore his 33-length seventh there.

He had earlier shown a reasonable aptitude for hurdling, going down by a short head on his debut at Lingfield and then winning easily at Bangor, and he now runs in a handicap for the first time.

His mark of 104, awarded before the Chepstow effort, looks perfectly fair in relation to a Flat rating of 69 earned on the all-weather, and he gets the added bonus of a massive 11lb weight for age.
