There is another double fixture of Flat racing in Ireland on Friday with Gowran hosting their second meeting in three days, but it's the first meeting of the year at Tipperary and it is that track which attracts most interest, particularly a couple of the handicaps on offer.

The rain that has already fallen, with the chance of more to come, will make the traditionally very fast straight five at Tipperary a bit slower, and that might suit the chances of Bahlwan in the TipperaryRaces.ie Handicap (2.10).
