O'Brien sprinter looks banker material on a day of head-to-heads

The first and last legs provide the main challenge for Pick 6 punters at Naas today. In between are four races that are more easily narrowed down.

A series of head-to-head battles between horses trained by Aidan O'Brien and Jessica Harrington provides the day's main narrative. This occurs most obviously in the Listed juvenile fillies' event (3.45) which sees a renewal of the rivalry between Harrington's and the Ballydoyle-trained Actress, whom she beat first time out over the course and distance. Actress picked up additional experience in winning over 5f at the Curragh last Sunday, and it could be close between the pair.

Unbeaten Group 1 winnerCaravaggio is the day's star-turn in the Group 3 Lacken Stakes over 6f (4.15). Harrington's Khukri looks the main danger, but it is hard to see the potential champion sprinter as anything other than a banker. The same status is given to the European Free Handicap winner Whitecliffsofdover in the Listed Owenstown Stud Stakes (2.40) in which Harrington again supplies the most appealing alternative in Marshall Jennings.
