Given how they have been farming the big races of late, punters could be forgiven for getting stuck into the dominant duo of Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore, but all good things must come to an end and it did so in Lingfield's trials.

Pocketfullofdreams came into the Oaks Trial as a maiden having been runner-up in a Listed race at Navan last month, and despite going as low as 1.07 in-running, she is still a maiden.

She held every chance and did lead in the straight, but was run down by Hertford Dancer, who was backed at a high of 34.
