Unbeaten in four starts since joining Nigel Twiston-Davies and progressed rapidly to land the Grade 1 Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree in April on his first start over 3m½f. He came back from a summer break to record a comfortable victory in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow off a mark of 148 over 2m3½f this month and looks sure to improve again returned to 3m. However, he has to carry a 4lb penalty in a stronger race and Ryan Hatch can't claim his 3lb.
