Nap of the day: the best horse racing tips from the day's four meetings on Sunday, October 12

Chepstow

3.17 Celtic Dino

Sam Thomas won last year's Welsh Champion Hurdle (at Ffos Las) with a lightly-raced 6yo and can do so again this season with Celtic Dino, who was a commendable third on his handicap debut at Aintree in April, having made headway from the rear to lead between the final two flights. Tutti Quanti remains unexposed over hurdles and is feared most, while good cases can also be made for Norman Fletcher and Listentoyourheart.

Cork

5.12: Something Fabulous

Declan Queally's Carrigmoorna Beech is better than she showed when last seen, but good ground and this trip are queries. Minella Emperor will appreciate the return to this distance, but Something Fabulous is preferred. The form of her Tramore win has been boosted and she has placed in a point-to-point, so she should stay this far.

Goodwood

3.02: Crazee Icon

Lots went wrong for Crazee Icon on her nursery debut at Chester three weeks ago, but she was beaten just a short head and can go one better today. Amazing Journey is another who hasn't been enjoying much luck, but perhaps the main threat will come from Authentic Charm, for whom the step up in trip could be a positive on his first nursery start. Epsom runner-up Balthamos is another to consider.

Naas

4.20: Lord Church

Two important form guides for this race are the Petingo and the recent Irish Cesarewitch. A chance is taken on the Petingo sixth, Lord Church, who may benefit from this step up in trip as well as the added tongue-tie. Light As Air was just touched off in that race and has obvious claims. Admirable veteran Lord Erskine fared best of these in the Cesarewitch and should be thereabouts again. Comfort Zone was last year's winner and although he finished behind in the aforementioned contests, they were not bad runs. Sorrentino looks the best of the Willie Mullins' pair while Jetara is also worth considering.
