An interesting race, principally due to the presence of REYENZI. He has been his own worst enemy in Group races the last twice but a gelding operation could sort him out and it would be no surprise to see him back at Pattern level should all go well on this handicap debut. Cap Saint Martin is another who could benefit from being gelded, as might Reyenzi's stablemate Tashir. Molto Amichi didn't get the breaks here last time and he won't remain a maiden for long.

Rocking Ends arrives on top of his game but a 7lb rise for winning at Windsor, where he was ideally placed throughout, asks some questions of him. None of these can be dismissed with confidence, but if MESAAFI can shrug aside his latest run (which was at Ascot) then he should be a major player, especially with 6f form in the book as this should be run at a fast pace when Law Of Average, Kinetic Force and Diomed Duke are possible front-runners.
