Nap of the day: the best horse racing tips from the day's four meetings on Monday, August 11

Ayr

3.30: Glistening Nights

Preference is for Glistening Nights who got back in the groove with a four-length win at Chester this month and looks well treated under a penalty. The main threat could come from Dawn Of Liberation who has won three times this season and has been knocking on the door on his last two starts. Another interesting contender is the unexposed three-year-old Ryka who is back in calmer waters and could resume her progress at this new trip.

Ballinrobe

7.25: Jolie Jewel

Sharpened by a good run over a shorter trip at the Galway festival, Jolie Jewel has solid course form to her name. She is just preferred to Dorans Law who won this event last year and arrives in good form after winning over fences at Wexford. Ladiam has useful form at this venue. Coumeenoole, contesting his first handicap\p could also feature.

Kempton

3.15: Popeye Doyle

A fair handicap of its type with half the field having won on their latest start. Nottingham winner Louie The Legend shouldn't have a problem with the return to Polytrack, while Ffos Las winner Bintshuaa (second choice) looks to be improving. But the vote goes to Popeye Doyle, who won with plenty of authority at Wolverhampton last month and can defy a 6lb rise.

Windsor

7.10 Seraphim Angel

This went to a three-year-old last year and Seraphim Angel could well follow suit. Windsor appears to bring out the best in the selection, who remains unbeaten here. Plenty of the older runners have possibilities and the suggested second choice is Woolhampton, who looks interesting off an attractive mark, with the return to six furlongs worth exploring. Change Sings and Bishop's Crown give Eve Johnson Houghton a robust hand, while Inishfallen has a fighting chance in the rematch with respected Badri.
