Nap of the day: the best horse racing tips from the day's five meetings on Tuesday, September 23

Beverley

3.08: Westgate Warrior

Most of these arrive with a question mark against them so this looks a good opportunity for Roy Bowring's low-mileage WESTGATE WARRIOR to build on his Nottingham third, now he reverts in trip, and get off the mark. Bern Rossetti could also benefit from the return to the minimum distance and is next on the list ahead of C&D scorer Bust A Moon.

Lingfield

4.15: Run With It

Spirit Of Leros (second choice) only went down by a short head on AW debut at Kempton last time and could build on that, but the progressive RUN WITH IT can complete the hat-trick despite being 7lb higher and unproven on Polytrack. The consistent Lady Manzor looks best of the others.

Listowel

4.20: Limestone

Given a handicap rating of 90 after two maiden starts, LIMESTONE faces lesser opposition today and can get off the mark even giving weight to all. The form of Redemption Road's Tipperary maiden win has been franked and he could pose the biggest danger if handling this ground.

Southwell

8.30: Both Of Us

Recent winning form is hard to come by, so the obvious selection is BOTH OF US, who got off the mark on soft ground at Brighton eight days ago. The danger is Aoife's Thunder, who has hit the crossbar three times and must come into consideration once again. Honour Within is now on a workable mark and is also feared, as is Infantry Officer, who won twice at Wolverhampton earlier in the year.

Warwick

2.28: Hobie

There should be more to come from HOBIE who returned from a long absence to win over hurdles before gaining his first chase success at Worcester this month. The main danger is Gone In Sixty who was just denied his first chase win at Stratford last time. King Of The Story won twice at Worcester in July and if you can draw a line through his last run when he was pulled up then he could also figure.
