Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Thursday fancies from Market Rasen, Wincanton, Newcastle and Thurles

Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Market Rasen

1.22: Jesuitique

Thunderstruck (second choice) and last year's winner Teescomponents Lad are likely to go well but it's still hard to ignore the claims of Jesuitique, who escapes a penalty for his Sandown win 11 days ago (due to be 5lb higher) and can make it 3-3 since joining Dr Richard Newland.
Andrew Sheret

Newcastle

1.07: Permission Granted

Abington Park chased home an odds-on rival who was completing a hat-trick at Huntingdon 18 days ago and is respected off an unchanged mark, but preference is for Permission Granted who justified support in good style at Ayr last time and remains feasibly treated on his best form. Others who could be dangerous are Fraterculus and the lightly raced seven-year-old Our Idic Boy.

Thurles

1.30: Broomfield Hall

Not a huge amount of depth to this race. Humble Glory has been unlucky but has to prove she stays. Downtown Queen looks potentially progressive, but despite a disappointing effort at Tramore, Broomfield Hall gets another chance. Her Listowel second to Party Central could be good enough here.
Justin O'Hanlon

Wincanton

3.50: Noble Savage

Finn Lambert has created a good impression this season and Noble Savage is unlikely to come up against one so well handicapped as was the case at Lingfield last time. Last year's runner-up Majestic Merlin is second choice, though Norley and Amelia's Dance are others with solid claims.
