Nap of the day: best horse racing tips from the day's five meetings
Advice at Cheltenham, Hexham, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Down Royal
Cheltenham
4.10 Imperial Alcazar
This looks the perfect target for Imperial Alcazar, who won well over C&D in January, has more to offer over fences and brings very appealing credentials. The Glancing Queen (second choice) and Grand Paradis (third choice) are other highly interesting novice chasers in this field, while Celebre D'Allen is unbeaten for his current yard and has to be feared. Fusil Raffles, Spiritofthegames and 2020 winner Simply The Betts are solid contestants who hold every chance of picking up a share of the prize-money, which goes down to eighth place.

Down Royal
3.55 Big Debates
Railway Hurricane is respected after a creditable effort at Fontwell last time, Stand Off has to be taken seriously but needs a little more, while the drop in trip is unlikely to suit Daphne Moon. The best chance is probably held by the versatile Big Debates, reverting to fences after winning a handicap hurdle in December.
Justin O'Hanlon
Hexham
4.25: Croagh Patrick
The Hexham regular Graystown has been struggling for form and that is a comment which can also be levelled at plenty of the others. Skyhill could be suited by dropping back in trip, while the reasonably unexposed Choctaw Brave would also hold realistic place claims granted a clear round. However, off the back of a solid display at Sedgefield, and with a 4lb weights rise imminent, it's difficult to look beyond the alluring Croagh Patrick.

Southwell
5.40: Love Your Work
The key to this is the race over C&D a week earlier in which Love Your Work finished second, Apex King third and Finery fourth. The trio meet on the same terms so Rebecca Menzies' gelding, who is due to go up 3lb at the weekend, can confirm the placings with his two old rivals and continue his fine run of form since joining the stable. Light Up Our Stars, who is just 1lb higher than for his last win, could well play a part.

Wolverhampton
7.00: Miss Nay Never
The admirable Dark Side Prince should give it another good go, while Ooh Is It should appreciate the return to this C&D. Miss Nay Never is very interesting now dropped in grade, however, and she may be able to give weight away all round. Her two runs this year are both easy enough to forgive (off for 112 days before reappearance and then poorly drawn last time) and she looked one to keep on the right side of last year.
