The form of his close third at Lingfield received an almighty boost there on Good Friday and, for one struggling to kick the habit of slow starts, this stiff track should work in his favour. Richard Fahey has won five of the last six renewals of this race and on that stat alone Internationaldream commands respect, for all that he kicks off his second campaign on a tough mark. Bickerstaffe remains exciting and Out The Hat looks well handicapped.

3.20: Frisson Collonges

Dan Skelton's Frisson Collonges (nap) was beaten over 19l when sixth at Uttoxeter last month but he did well to lead the field for a long as he did there, given how markedly he jumped to his right. Back on a right-handed circuit here, he could be difficult to catch. All of the others come with risks but Finalshot drops in grade today and has become very well handicapped on his hurdle form.

The improving Headshot is probably the one they'll have to aim at here. He may prove good enough, but the suggestion is Largo Bay (nap), who is also unexposed and could be capable of kicking on at three from what is a workable mark. Shimla Rolann and Ambarella are not ruled out.

A strong pace would bring Amazing Amaya into the equation, while Lethal Angel and Super Julius are others to consider, but the vote goes to Kath's Lustre (nap). Richard Hughes's mare has gained four of her five wins around here and she has a good record after an absence.
