Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Exeter

3.35:Wetandwindy

Nickelsonthedime has possibilities in first-time cheekpieces and Mr Tambourine Man is well treated on his peak form, while Moot Court and Walk Away Now are open to improvement. However, the most solid option is Wetandwidny (nap) who has shown sound progress since switched to handicaps and may well have more to offer. Moot Court is tentative second choice.

Pontefract

3.15:Lethal Levi

Soft ground would be a new experience for a few of these, but not Lethal Levi (nap) who ended last season with a good second of ten under such conditions in a course-and-distance nursery. He returns on the same mark and the stable took this last year. The unexposed Love De Vega and Buckshaw Vaillage, whose yard has landed five of the last seven runnings, are others to consider.
David Bellingham

Southwell

4.00:Hillview

All Thumbs Up is interesting on his first outing for the in-form Tom Lacey but the one to beat is Hillview (nap) who was awarded a race over course and distance two weeks ago and almost certainly has more in the locker. Signal Point is lightly raced and dangerous if she stays, while Tea For Free (second choice) could be ready to strike after bumping into two improving rivals last time.
