Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Musselburgh

1.45: Creative Control

Massini Man started off for Sandy Thomson with two good runs over 2m4f here in November and could quite easily have more to offer for the stable if today's longer trip suits but CREATIVE CONTROL doesn't look harshly treated with a 6lb rise for last month's comfortable C&D win and he might still have untapped potential over 3m. The dark horse is Gris Gris Top, who was placed in two maiden hurdles in 2021 and now makes his chase/handicap debut after a long absence.

Chelmsford

3.00: Chola Empire

The step up to 1m could prompt improvement from the lightly raced 4yo CHOLA EMPIRE and he's run really well on both previous visits to Chelmsford. Jenson Benson also likes it here and is feared most in the expectation he improves for last month's run here, which was his first outing since last May. Recent Wolverhampton winner Siam Fox is respected under his penalty.

Wolverhampton

5.00: Tiger Beetle

Given that he's still highly unexposed on AW, TIGER BEETLE could well build on his recent C&D win and follow up. Mafia Power (second choice) ties in closely with the selection on that form, while Queen Of Ipanema remains of interest and Light Up Our Stars is another for the shortlist.
